Elisa Crémant de Loire reflects her personality: strong in character, ambitious and dynamic, with its fine and persistent bubbles and its fruity flavors. Pleasant nose with complex aromas of white fruits, almond and toasted notes. On the palate, it has a long taste, with mineral, pear and apple notes. The complex taste mixes softness and vivacity, making it perfect for an aperitif with starters or as accompaniment to seafood meals.

Producer: Mooa Wine Le Bazar Orange Pet Nat 2023 Region: Côtes De Provence, France Grapes: Clairette, Trebbiano, Vermentino Farming: Natural, No Added Sulfur This bright sparkling orange is made from Clairette and Trebbiano with the addition of some Vermentino which Jean-Luc lets ferment for 10 days with the skins. The bubbles form through a mixture of indigenous yeast and second fermentation in the bottle. It has some fruitiness that manifests as raspberry and lemon/lime as well as some toasty herbal notes that makes for a super fun and exciting wine!

The wine is tank-fermented and aged sur lie for three months. This is a family run winery, headed by oenologist Stelios Alexakis, assisted by his wife and sons.

Coming from Blue Marl terrior which is suited for Savagnin, which produces a unique taste and aromas, the vinification starts with the cuvée begins with an overnight pellicular maceration before pressing and is later aged in ullaged barrels.

Grape: Chardonnay Region: Jura, France Jean- Michel decided to take over his family vineyard and started from scracth. Grape: Chardonnay Region: Jura, France After years of making wine aborad, Jean-Michell Petite returned home and took over the family Domaine in the early 90’s and began creating a fantastic series of wines from the Jura region. A delightful fusion of lemon zest & green apples with a refined texture that coats the palate. The nose is perfume and lively with yellow apples and wet stones.

Grape: Malagousia Region: Macedonia, Greece Farming: Organic, Biodynamic It has a yellow color, lively in the glass. The nose has moderate aromatic intensity with juicy stone fruit and white flowers taking the lead. White-fleshed peach and fresh citrus fruits, mainly orange. Laterally, a botanical character of thyme is also expressed. In the mouth it has a rich body with nice acidity and the same intensities and aromas as the nose. The aftertaste is medium and fruity.

He started his own project, Malinga, in 2017. Crisp and filled with minerality! Subtle aromatics of white flowers with notes of white nectarine, green apple, pear, citrus and refreshing acidity. A perfect white for day drinking!

Etna – Sicily, Italy Grapes: Carricante, Cataratto Farming: Organic Nuzzella was founded in 2014 when Nicola Oteri and his wife Norma purchased an old olive grove and vineyard and planted the native varieties of Nerello, Mascalese, and Carricante, and began the difficult and exciting work of recovering the 10 acres of abandoned land. Fermented with a few days of skin contact to build weight. Crisp with voluminous texture and salinity, unfurling slowly with time and air. Citrusy and floral notes with a hint of tree fruit.

Region: Mosel, Germany Grape: Riesling A pale yellow Riesling with notes of citrus, tree fruit, and mineral and refreshing acidy balanced by residual sugars. Produced in the famous vineyards along the Mosel Valley, this wine encapsulates the freshness and purity of the unique terroir of that region.

Region: Galicia, Spain Grapes: Godello, Loureira, Albariño Farming: Vegan This white wine is cloudy with broad aromas of pear, fennel, green apple and grapefruit. Fresh and balanced mouthfeel and pleasantly slight bitterness at the finish. Made via spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tank. 40% of the wine underwent a few days of skin contact, while the rest was direct pressed. Malolactic fermentations occurred naturally and 40% of the wine is aged in old chestnut big casks. The final wine is unfined and unfiltered.

Producer: Weingut Sybille Kuntz Region: Mosel, Germany Grape: Riesling Farming: Organic, Biodynamic Serious mineral dry white wine with a punch! Brilliant white-yellow colour with straw-yellow hues. Ripe stone fruit, lychee, flint, orange peel and a touch of mint in the nose. Super juicy start with fresh ripe acids and minerals upfront; elegant texture with a lot of content but at the same time refined; long, fruity aftertaste with citrus and ripe white fruit. Top wine as an aperitif, with white meat and crustaceans, and especially with white mould cheeses and orientally seasoned green vegetable salad.

The real quality comes in the stylish, long finish. This is very fine indeed, but deliberately not a massively powerful example. Drink 2026-2038

Firm tannins develop into a rounded and pleasant finish.

Still with some soft dark fruits and perfumey undertones like plums, roses and boysenberries. Great acidity and well balanced with moderate plus tannins. Medium plus bodied with red cherries and purple flowers throughout and a bit of twigs and iron. Long and lingering finish.

Classic and dark fruited with cooked cherry and currant, with licorice and hints of baking chocolate. Intense and concentrated on palate, with dry tannins and a tightly wound fruit on the finish.

Grapes: Syrah/Grenache Region: Rhone Valley, France This deep blend of Syrah and Grenache showcases dark berry fruit as well as rich earth and spice aromas. This juicy red will pair exceptionally with a grilled steak and a loaded baked potato!

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Petit Verdot Region: Paso Robles, California Sustainable Farming This gorgeous California Cabernet is a show stopper. From a family owned and operated estate and aged 22 months in new French oak. Aromas of blackerry, violets and tobacco leaves. Notes of cinnamon, dark spices, plum, chocolate covered cherries, forrest floor with a long finish and a full body. 2018 is a cooler growing season, the wine displays richness, elegance and balance. Drinking well now but has all it needs for a long life in the cellar.

Grape: Pinot Gris Region: Ammerschwihr, France Farming: Biodynamic A lovely orange natural wine made from majority of Pinot Gris macerated on its skins for one month and topped up with a touch of Pinot Noir before being aged in stainless steel tanks for up to 6 months. Intense nose of tropical fruits as well as red fruits to the tune of strawberries.

Grape: 100% Nerello Mascalese Region: Etna, Sicily, Italy Farming: Natural On the palate this is elegant and supple with the red fruits and spice coming through. The wine is tightly wound with fine tannins and great acidity that persists through the finish. This will need some time, but it's quality is already impossible to miss.

Producer: Bodegas Albamar Capitan Xurelo Rias Baixas 2021 Grapes: Caino Tinto/Espadeiro/Mencia Region: Galicia, Spain Farming: Organic Capitan Xurelo is a light, low ABV, chillable red that has crunchy minerality and lip-smacking acidity. It’s one of Xurxo's rare red wines from Rías Baixas. The grapes (40-100+ years in age) are all grown organically over a blend of clay, granite, and schist soil. The Vineyard is incredibly close to the Atlantic ocean and basically at sea level. Only two barrels were produced so get it while you can! Low abv at 11% makes this wine delicate and delicious.

Grape: Syrah Region: Coastal Croatia Farming: Organic Handpicked Syrah and Plavina from 20 year old organically-grown vineyards, and aged in steel and french oak. "Crno" literally means black in Croatian, and the wine definitely delivers on darkness in terms of peppery dark fruits and a long mineral finish.

Whole cluster fermented and aged in neutral oak for 4.5 months. Ruby in color, visibly a lighter red wine and similar to an easy drinking Beaujolais.

Grape: Gamay Region: Saint-Amour, France Farming: Biodynamic A marvel of Saint-Amour! Once again, Yann Bertrand offers us a high-flying, very flexible wine, fresh and delicious! You will notice small red and black fruit aromas that characterize this wine and you will also enjoy all its balance and perfection! A very nice Beaujolais, as always organic.

Grape: Malbec Region: Vin de France Farming: Organic At first glance, this Malbec shows violet reflections that testify to its youth. On the nose, the aromas of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry are predominant. In the mouth, the wine is supple and fruity with present but fine and elegant tannins. The aromas of red fruits perceived on the nose are found, as well as notes of light spices. The finish is pleasant and leaves a sensation of freshness in the mouth.

Grape: Nebbiolo Region: Piedmont, Italy Farming: Organic With the signature “tar and roses” aromas, have a deceptively light garnet color but full presence on the palate and plenty of tannins and acidity. In a well-made Barolo wine, one can expect to find complexity and good evolution with notes of, for example, strawberry, cherry, plum, leather, truffle, anise, fresh and dried herbs, tobacco and violets.

Grape: Nebbiolo Region: Piedmont, Italy Farming: Organic Starderi is a beautiful vineyard, planted with approximately 50 year old Nebbiolo vines. The yield is quite low and gives an extremely elegant Barbaresco. Olek succeeds very well in making the wine a reflection of that beautiful cru Starderi. Complex, layered, and nuanced. Already terribly good to drink, but will evolve over the years into an even more refined version of itself.

Grape: 100% Mencia Region: Bierzo, Spain Farming: Organic Some call Mencia the Pinot Noir of Spain - elegant, lean, hard to do well and expressive of terroir, it's an easy crowd pleaser - we love this one by one woman show Veronica because of its combo of minerality and fruitiness. The vines are around 90/100 years old in the Bierzo valley (Northwest, Spain). Veronica’s father was a bullfighter and 'dar un quite' is originally a bullfighting term, which means 'to offer a helping hand'. In Bierzo, Ortega found balance, both in the terroir and the expression of her preferred variety, which hovers somewhere between Pinot Noir’s elegance and Syrah’s structure.

Grape: 98% Mourvèdre with Grenache Noir & Cinsault Region: Bandol, France Farming: Organic On notes of blueberry, garrigue, leather, tobacco, a hint of oak... Palate: obviously a southern profile, racy, the aging is perfectly integrated to reveal the elegance and finesse of this exceptional bottle.

Grape: Xinomavro Region: Macedonia, Greece Farming: Organic The elderly around Amyndeo still call it “Popolka”, the actual name of Xinomavro before the 70’s. A natural, zero-zero red Xinomavro, from its birthplace in the lake terroir of Amyndeo, from the master of its kind, Vasilis Vaimakis. Dark brick red with intense gooseberries and leather notes on the nose and hints of hay, with a surprisingly clean palate and playful tannins.

Grape: Pineau d’Aunis Region: Loire Valley, France Farming: Organic Pineau d’Aunis comes from a forty year old parcel picked a little later than Le Regard, fermented on skins as whole bunches for three weeks and pressed to barrels for fifteen months of rest. Incredibly pretty, it offers a gorgeous perfume of red berries, earth and spice, whilst the palate is incredibly moreish, framing the fruit with filigree tannins and a cleansing lick of acidity

Grape: Cab Franc Region: Loire Valley, France Farming: Organic Deep purple colour. On the nose, ripe, black and red fruit with a touch of anise and herbaceous notes. Much of the same carries through to the palate, with added crunchy, red fruit and light, approachable tannins. Medium-bodied.

Grape: Trousseau Region: Jura, France Farming: Organic We're in the fruit forward camp of Trousseau here, and as with all the wines from Domaine Ratte, there's impeccable shape and guile. Fruit from the Côteaux des Corvées, which is THE slope you want to be on in the area. Old vines too. Tart fruited and leathery, with plenty of spice and brightness. Yummy.

The nose recalls the scent of red fruits, on the palate you'll taste cherry, wild herbs and a hint of earthy leather, with medium tannins and nice acidity. It's fresh and flamboyant offering a great joyful drinkability.
