Region: Loire, France Grape: Pinot Noir Farming: Biodynamic Tessier's 2022 "Le Point du Jour" is a beautiful expression of Cheverny, a blend of 20% Gamay and 80% Pinot Noir from the oldest vines of the estate planted on two types of terroir, clay and sand and sandy clay over limestone. The wine shows a bright black/red color with aromas of ripe cherry/berry fruits with hints of cinnamon and almond. The palate is lovely with fresh red and black fruits and silky tannins - really a lovely wine that will drink beautifully over the next 3 - 5 years.
