Spirit: Malted Barley & Grain Region: Scotland Black Label's is a proprietary blend of malt whiskies and grain whiskies from up to 40 different Scottish distilleries, all aged for at least 12 years in oak casks. It includes whiskies from regions like Speyside, the Lowlands, the Highlands, and Islay. Tasting notes feature sweet, fruity notes of apples, peaches, and raisins, complemented by vanilla, toffee, and caramel. These are balanced by a delicate and warming peat smoke, along with hints of citrus zest, spice, and charred wood. Pairs well with cookies such as biscotti, salted caramel cookies, or dark chocolate cookies with dried fruit.
